Climate has leached all the color from this poster of a woman. and transformed her into over-exposed black and white (the Thai over her head, at least my phone, translates to "Work is slow"). Pink adenium, the blue pipe, the restaurant's yellow signage and orange fried chicken do what they can to make up for her, the white wall, and the other faded poster.
This photo, however, is a bit of an embarrassment to me; this from LightRoom's Develop module shows why:
You will observe that the photo is only slightly cropped, and where the rule of thirds grid lines fall. I ran a grid line right down the middle of her nose! And a second grid line down the end of the wall! A third gridline where the restaurant window begins. A fourth grid line, well....
However, there was no grid on my camera's finder. I did not impose the Rule of Thirds with intention. Rather, having followed the Rule of Thirds religiously when making my collection of spirit houses, I seem to have incorporated it into muscle memory. Whether muscle memory is a kind of intention, I don't know.
